About the Armiglass company

Our team has been working in the field of glass processing since 2016. The main area of activity until 2020 was the production of sheet laminated glass. However, in 2020, when we first saw glass tubes that can be used for drinks, we immediately realized that this direction was promising and immediately started working on it.

The main motivation was that more and more countries in the world were banning the use of plastic and other non-organic straws, and we would be able to contribute to the development of an ecological alternative to plastic straws.

At that time, we already had equipment that can chemically increase the strength of glass products, and we started testing.

The test results showed that the strength increases up to 35% from the initial values.

The decision to start work on a new direction of production was made immediately, and already at the beginning of 2021 we had the equipment for the production of glass straws.

The search for high-quality raw materials, optimization of production processes, improvement of packaging methods took us a lot of time, so the final product saw the light of day already in 2022.
